Senior Recruiter - Direct Hire, Full-Time

We're hiring a Senior Recruiter to support our Direct Hire division.

The Senior Recruiter will work across PE firms and their respective portfolio companies. This Senior Recruiter will recruit for high-visibility and senior leadership roles across a variety of companies in various verticals. This Senior Recruiter will recruit as Hueman on behalf of the portfolio company. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with executives to recruit for senior-level positions. This position will operate autonomously and develop and maintain great relationships with portfolio companies and respective leadership. This is a challenging role that requires someone who is highly organized, able to quickly understand new roles and industries, effectively communicate with executives, and provide white-glove service.

During a typical week, the Direct Hire Senior Recruiter can expect:

70% recruitment, 20% client interactions, 10% reporting & admin

Senior Recruiter Job Duties:
  • Source, screen, interview, submit and hire passive candidates from multiple sources, in a variety of industries and functions
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with Portfolio Company leadership
  • Provide clients with relevant market analytics as needed
  • Recruit on senior level and high-visibility positions across a variety of industries and job functions
  • Conduct self-guided research on new roles and industries
  • Manage expectations and proactively communicate
  • Navigate through undefined and inconsistent processes
  • Educate hiring managers on best TA best-practices and related information (interview process, offer process etc.)
  • Lead intake calls with clients
  • Provide all active clients with weekly written updates (on your open orders)
  • Identify opportunities for growth (including consulting, RMO, RPO etc.) and escalate to Division President
  • Participate in internal team meetings
  • Participate in a weekly one-on-one meeting
  • May require occasional travel to client sites, conferences, and other events
Senior Recruiter Job Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of recruitment experience required, preferably in a fast paced, agency environment
  • Experience recruiting Accounting & Finance roles preferred
  • At least 15 years of professional experience is preferred
  • At least three years of experience managing relationships with executives
  • A successful track record of recruiting for leadership and key positions
  • Must be very resourceful and highly autonomous
  • Experience dealing with top executives; CEOs, Presidents, etc.
  • Knowledge of recruitment best practices regarding interviewing, job offers etc.
  • Knowledge of recruitment sourcing tools and developing recruitment plans
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to quickly understand a new job and industry in order to effectively recruit
  • Ability to communicate assertively, while remaining positive
  • Ability to work in an unstructured and fluid process with minimal guidance
  • High-level of autonomy, but not afraid to ask for help
  • Confident and articulate
  • Ability to remain firm, while understanding when to be flexible
  • Excellent at developing relationships and garnering trust
  • Excellent organizational skills and follow-through
