Starting with our flagship venue in Charlotte's Lower South End, Rally is reinventing recreation, and we're looking for enthusiastic, hospitality-oriented individuals to join our front of house team

The Position.

At Rally, we call our servers "Captains" because they are the captain of the guest's experience. Captains greet guests with a genuine smile, build rapport throughout the visit, and ensure an enjoyable, best-in-class experience. As a Captain, no one has a more significant impact on a guest's satisfaction than you. You bring the fun and the expertise, sharing your knowledge of the menu and the game with each group in your care. The Captain is responsible for exceeding guests' expectations by providing friendly and efficient guest service. Teamwork, enthusiasm, food and beverage knowledge, and the ability to create "Magic Moments" are critical components of this job.

What You'll Do:
  • Greet guests with a smile and escort them to their pickleball court, or to a section / zone in the venue.
  • Assist guests in understanding and enjoying Rally's games, including the use of our unique on-court technology.
  • Explain service model to guests, including use of QR codes as a convenient alternative to order food and drink during their visit.
  • Anticipate guest pain points and strive to exceed expectations.
  • Follow all steps of service in a timely and friendly manner when taking orders and serving food and beverage.
  • Understand and follow food allergy procedures and special orders/restrictions.
  • Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures.
  • Observe the rules of responsible alcohol service.
  • Get along with others and be a team player.

  • Successfully complete alcohol awareness training.
  • Follow all rules, policies, procedures, and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift and move safely through all venue areas, which may include stairs, uneven or slick surfaces.
  • Work in a confined, crowded space of variable noise and temperature levels.
