Business Operations Analyst

As a Barclays Business Operations Analyst, you will be accountable for reconciliation and exception handling for various Ops processes, specifically as we anticipate growth in the manual exception handling volume. Some of the processes under your remit include the paper application and mailroom processes and statement, letter, plastic, and interchange processes. In this role, you will have an opportunity to be accountable for key aspects of service, risks, controls, and adherence to policy and procedures.

What will you be doing?

• Assisting the team by handling the paper application and mailroom /correspondence processes
• Handling excessive reconciliation and exception handling volumes for the operational processes
• Coordinating procedures, risk action items, and weekly updates
• Ensuring vendor performance is measured and risks are identified and mitigated
• Supporting the existing business and future growth initiatives as and when required
• Acting as an SME for all things related to the services provided by the 3rd Party Vendors
• Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements

What we’re looking for:

• Prior Vendor Management experience, specifically performance management of 3rd party Suppliers and Supplier Governance
• Financial services experience
• Experience with procedures and controls including audits and Rigor Assessments
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
• Significant Excel proficiency is a plus
