The Bursar reports to the Executive Director of Finance and Financial Aid and is an integral part of the College's Financial Operations area. This position oversees all aspects of student accounts, manages accounts receivables and cash management, and addresses any escalated issues as needed. The Bursar is also responsible for managing CCBC payment plans, managing third-party student account contracts, credit card processing, and student refunds. The Incumbent will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Cashiers' Office and is responsible for the maintenance of required records on the payment and collection of all accounts. This position will develop and implement cash handling procedures and will provide continuous improvement through staff training, teamwork, and cooperation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or Entrepreneurship; Master's Degree preferred.
  • Five (5) years of full-time experience in business management, billing/accounting, accounts receivable, banking, or customer service.
  • Two (2) years of supervisory experience and experience utilizing technology to improve business processes, preferably in higher education.
