Job description
As part of Client's Digital Transformation Office, the Portfolio Manager will report to the Vice President Digital Transformation. The Portfolio Manager will work closely with Senior Leaders across multiple regions and functions to advance back-office transformation strategies through to execution and pave the path to a digital today and tomorrow.
This individual will support the ongoing evolution of strategic transformation programs and will play a pivotal role in ensuring that program mandates are observed and achieved. As part of the role, the Portfolio Manager will be responsible for governing the program portfolio, supporting planning and strategic activities, and continuously identifying opportunities to optimize approach and outcomes.
Success requires strong analytical skills, an inquisitive mindset with the appetite to challenge the status quo, excellent written and verbal communication, and ability to pivot in a fast-paced environment.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
•Partner with senior leaders across multiple regions and multi-disciplined functions (e.g., Business, IT and Finance), providing direction and governance oversight throughout projects' lifecycle
•Collaborate with the business in the project ideation phase to ensure alignment to program mandates and rules of the road
•Organize, monitor, and report program initiatives across regions and functions, ensuring enterprise mandates are being met
•Develop optimum data visualization tools and reporting, enabling on-time key program insights and data-driven decision making
•Support the development of the program roadmap and disseminate executive decisions and direction to regions and functions
•Prepare regular executive communication artifacts headlining progress towards enterprise-wide strategic goals
•Proactively explore opportunities to add value by evolving approaches to governing, managing, and executing across the program in line with agile ways of working
•Foster a collaborative knowledge-sharing culture, developing and delivering topical Community of Practice sessions to a variety of internal and external stakeholders
•Champion and support process and tool efforts to strengthen and build upon existing program capabilities and develop new capabilities, as appropriate
•Define and enforce best practices, and time, quality, risk, and quality parameters for the program
•Ensure data integrity and accuracy of program metrics and statistics across all relevant enterprise programs
•Insert gating checkpoints into team plans, specifying outputs and approvals required to proceed to next stage
•Provide monthly updates of expected delays, accelerations, shortfalls arising from weekly events, project impact on program forecasts
•Conduct complex qualitative and quantitative analysis of program performance. Summarize findings, draw appropriate conclusions, and effectively communicate results to team
Qualifications
•Bachelor's Degree
•8+ years of related experience
•Results oriented, proactive and adaptable
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively and establish strong working relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders across Business, IT and Finance functions
•Demonstrated understanding and experience analyzing and organizing data and presenting critical business insights
•Ability to translate complex ideas and information into executable plans
•Skilled at working independently and effectively with loosely defined tasks and/or ambiguity
•Strong organization and time management skills to manage competing demands and balance priorities
•Expert with PowerPoint and Excel
•Experience with PowerApps, Power BI, QlikSense, JIRA, and MS Teams a plus
