As the Division Controller, you are responsible for managing financial and accounting operations, including processing of financial transactions, production of periodic financial reports, and maintenance of accounting records. You will work closely with the team to enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results, and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting procedures.

Essential Functions: Assists in the development of policies, procedures and systems to support a rapidly growing organization Manages the accuracy and productivity of day-to-day activities in accounting operations including billing, A/R, A/P, GL and revenue recognition Maintains a system of controls over accounting transactions including payroll processing and reporting Works closely with Supply Chain on the accuracy of inventory through regular cycle counts, periodic review of WIP and regular data analysis Provides superior customer support to multiple constituents including our end customers, program managers, contracts, HR and executive management Ensures accuracy, propriety, and completeness for monthly and year-end closings Enforces all accounting policies and procedures of the company Prepares audit materials for annual financial statements and 401(K) audits Insures that all financial data is entered into the system timely and accurately Effectively builds and supports a solid accounting team Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company policies and applicable laws Performs other related duties as assigned Regular and reliable attendance on a full time basis [or in accordance with posted schedule]. Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflects positively on the company and is consistent with the company's policies and practices. Embodies the company's cultural values and aligns daily actions with department goals and company culture.

Qualifications: Specific experience required in revenue recognition matters particularly focused on EAC, ETC, WIP and COGS for multi-year projects Thorough knowledge of inventory tracking and manufacturing accounting Demonstrated accomplishments of improving efficiencies by process optimization, developing standards, and establishing internal controls Excellent organization and time management skills Proficient in MS Office Suite, automated accounting /financial reporting and ERP Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment Knowledge of government contracting and FAR requirements a plus Leadership Competencies: Directs and provides expert knowledge in the day-to-day function of the department. Identifies, recruits, and retains top-notch talent. Champions Company culture and empowers employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals. Coaches, mentors, engage and develop the team, including overseeing new employee onboarding and providing career development planning and learning opportunities. Education / Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field or equivalent work experience Experience: 5+ years accounting experience required Previous experience leading a team Government contractor accounting practices, DCAA compliance a plus Experience with ERP conversion/implementation a plus Physical Requirements: Constantly required to sit, and to reach to use computers and other office equipment Constantly required repetitive movements of wrists, hands, and/or fingers
