That's why we offer competitive wages, a comprehensive benefits program, a positive, respectful work environment and culture, opportunities for growth, and more A Day in the Life of a Guest Room Quality Control Inspector As a Guest Room Quality Control Inspector you are a critical member of our team - you will be charged with inspecting the "quality of clean" that our housekeeping attendants have achieved after they have finished cleaning guest rooms. The delivery of consistent quality is a key component in creating positive experiences for our guests. You will carefully inspect every detail, edge and corner, high and low of the guest rooms and other guest?experience areas such as corridors, elevators and the fitness center. You will evaluate and rate the cleaning performance after rooms have been cleaned and report results immediately to the Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor assigned to the area so any deficiencies can be addressed right away. Responsible for reporting room discrepancies related to maintenance problems to the supervisor. Qualifications 21 years old or older Knowledge of computers Good command of the English language (Bi?lingual is a plus) and ability to clearly communicate with guests and team members Thorough knowledge of hotel services Professional image and confident, team?building personality Attention to detail, ability to organize, prioritize and follow up Maintain confidentiality and security of all guests and general hotel information Flexible hours, including weekends and evenings if necessary Experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or QA Inspector or similar role is a plus Hands?on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks for large organizations Excellent organizational and communication management skills Stamina to handle physical demands of the job Job Duties Deliver customer service by responding promptly to customer needs, special requests from guests. Team work: Treat people with respect, keep commitments, uphold organizational values, assist with preventative cleaning programs as assigned. Quality: Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness; monitor own work to ensure quality; maintain cleanliness of storage room and stock carts. Quantity: Meet productivity standards and complete work within a timely manner; complete rooms within approved budget and time. Safety and Security: Observe safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, use chemicals and equipment properly. Responsible for any assigned keys and key control policies. Dependability: Arrive at scheduled meetings and appointments on time, meet demands of the industry with working holidays and weekends. Initiative: Volunteer readily, ask for and offer help when needed, check with supervisor upon completion of room assignments. Compliance: Report lost and found items, maintenance issues, "Do Not Disturb" and "Refuse Services" to supervisor.
