We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Contract and Compliance Specialist to join our dynamic team in the material handling industry. You will play a critical role in supporting our company in contract guidance and support to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, managing contractual relationships, and managing our corporate governance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our company. Review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including vendor contracts, service agreements, and procurement contracts including terms and conditions and Nondisclosure agreements Coordinate with our external legal attorney on contractual terms and conditions and provide guidance to internal teams, including sales and operations. Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop project specific risk mitigation plans and strategies. Ensure proper documentation and maintain the validity of these agreements. Compliance Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for compliance matters. Stay abreast of changes in laws and regulations relevant to the material handling industry. Insurances: Keep track of renewals, ensure properly documented paperwork for renewals, report claims, tracking. Company Governance: Ensure compliance with group corporate governance principles and legal requirements. Assist in the preparation of board materials and corporate resolutions. Assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures. High focus on the organizational side of the tasks and not the operational like purchasing. Client would like to see candidates with experience in structuring and organizing/following up with deadlines and renewals and not only with getting the contracts finalized. Additional Skills & Qualifications: Excellent negotiation and drafting skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner. Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and thoroughness. Proactive approach to identifying and addressing all kind of issues. Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
