You'll be responsible for setting sales strategies and objectives, identifying sales targets, and evaluating the team's sales performance to help us achieve our sales goals. If you're a natural hospitality and sales leader who loves exciting challenges we want to hear from youResponsibilities•Assist the Director of Sales in securing appropriate Group and Event business•Respond promptly to inquiries•Cultivate relationships in the Asheville market•Assist in facilitating events and assuring guest satisfaction•Outline our sales strategies and objectives to ensure we make our sales goals•Cultivate long-lasting customer relationships to meet customer needs, and mitigate any complaints to ensure continued business•Lead our sales team by setting a sales plan for each sales representative, identifying individual sales targets, assigning sales territories, and overseeing training programs to make sure they're successful•Continue company growth by identifying new sales opportunities, emerging markets, and lead generation programs•Present sales reports to the team that accurately represent sales efforts including sales progress and volume to more accurately forecast future goalsQualifications•Demonstrates a proven track record of success in sales•Excellent leadership skills, analytical skills, and communication skills•3+ years of experience in sales management or in a leadership role in the sales department
