The Opportunity

This position is responsible for the safe operation and transportation of Guest vehicles within the guidelines of established policy, procedures, and controls.

What You Get to Do
  • Safely transport and operate Guest vehicles in accordance with established procedures.
  • Run, jog, or walk promptly, considering prevailing conditions, for all Guest vehicle pickups.
  • Record Valet tickets accurately, affix the appropriate part to keys, park the Guest vehicle in the Valet lot, and securely store keys in the Valet office until Guests are ready to depart.
  • Adhere to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Maintain effective communication with the Valet Supervisor.
  • Conduct pre-operation inspections of vehicles, noting any defects or issues on Valet Tickets.
  • Provide general information about the casino complex, surrounding property, and local community.
  • Foster an environment that encourages Associates to share ideas, address concerns, and resolve conflicts.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of work areas.
  • Promptly report all accidents or hazards to the Valet Supervisor or Transportation/Security Leaders.
  • Report any suspicious activity to Security personnel.
  • Keep all Valet lanes clear of parked cars.
  • Fulfill other assigned departmental duties to contribute to the team's overall success and efficiency.

What Qualifies You
  • High school diploma, or general education degree (GED).
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Must meet criteria to be insured through our Company's vehicle insurance policy.
  • Must be able to secure license from Gaming Regulatory Authority (GRA).
  • Responsible for following all relevant Detailed Gaming Regulations (DGR's).
  • Mille Lacs Band Member and American Indian preference will be exercised in the hiring process.
Must Have Skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to provide courteous and efficient service to Guests.
  • Effective verbal communication skills to interact with Guests, supervisors, and team members.
  • Ability to accurately record information, follow procedures, and inspect vehicles for defects.
  • Capacity to run, jog, or walk swiftly as needed, and the ability to move and park vehicles safely.
  • Capability to handle unexpected situations, such as accidents or Guest inquiries, with calmness and efficiency.
  • Understanding of safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of Guests, fellow associates, and oneself.
  • Flexibility to work in varying weather conditions and adapt to changes in workload or Guest demands.
Physical Requirements
  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to:
  • Talk and hear.
  • See and adjust focus to include close, distance, depth, and peripheral vision.
  • Stand, walk, run, sit, balance, stoop, kneel, climb, crouch, and/or crawl.
  • Handle objects, tools, and controls; reach with arms and hands.
  • Lift and/or move objects weighing up to fifty (50) pounds.
Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly exposed to:
  • A low-to-moderate noise level (offices).
  • A moderate-to-loud noise level (public areas).
  • Second-hand cigarette/cigar smoke.
  • Exposed to outside weather conditions including extreme heat and extreme cold.
