Aspen / Pitkin County Airport Armed Security Officer - Airport Operations Aspen, CO / Basalt, CO / Carbondale, CO / Glenwood Springs, CO Colorado Western Slope Operations / Full-Time / On-site We are seeking Armed Security Officers for an airport in Aspen/Pitkin County, Colorado. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of airline staff, airport staff, TSA personnel, and travelers by enforcing security procedures and managing potentially high-risk situations. You'll work closely with team members to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the safety of all personnel and patrons. Ideal candidates will have certifications such as a baton permit, pepper spray permit, and CPR certification, though these are not required. The ability to collaborate effectively and thoroughly document incidents is essential for this position. Aspen/Pitkin County Airport Employment Eligibility: Provide documentation to verify identity and eligibility/authorization to work in the US Experience: Must have post certification of prior law enforcement experience Attitude: Maintain a calm, professional, and customer service-oriented demeanor Language Skills: Fluent in English speaking, reading/writing. Spanish is a bonus Screening: Ability to pass a urinalysis (site dependent), criminal background check, and TSA background Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from work Tech Literacy: Basic technology skills and ownership of a working smartphone and accessible email account Physical Ability: Can stand, sit, walk, jog, crouch, bend over, and carry 50lbs in a variety of weather conditions and work environments $35 - $45 an hour Why Join Citadel Security USA?
