Job Description Act as functional coordinator for cross country and cross application development and deployment projects in US Act as functional and technical soundboard to translate business requirements into US IT Solutions and give detailed judgement on business complexity and promote simplification/unification Act as a liaison between business users, IT developers and support staff throughout the entire lifecycle of the project Elicit requirements using interviews, system and document analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios and business analysis Contribute to process and concept re-engineering projects that result IT Solutions harmonization Ensure that the functionality of Solutions/systems is used in the most appropriate way to support the processes using best practice approach Align with local key users, lab managers and BU managers on how to use the Eurofins solutions/systems Perform gap analysis and document detailed functional specifications for common and for segment specific modules Document business processes and workflows, and analyze how Solutions can be delivered to support those processes and workflows Discuss with the module/project owners what specific functionality (or add-on) is to be developed and make recommendations For business requirements that span multiple Eurofins applications, support the Business Requirement owner to break down into well defined/scoped user requirements, to evaluate impact of requested change Ensure documentation writing and training to power users Monitor benchmark and promote the use of IT Solutions Assist in the development of high-level project scope, deliverables and milestones Assist in the preparation of detailed project plans, including timelines with skill set and resource assignments Other duties as assigned Qualifications SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Strong analytical and project management skills Strong interpersonal skills that allow for moving comfortably in a business environment and to interface with all levels of customers and staff Proficiency in capturing process flows and business requirements Ability to communicate effectively with the business users and understand their needs and propose solutions in conjunction with solution architects Ability to work with both technical and leadership team members to resolve issues and satisfy needs Detail oriented with effective communication skills Self-Motivated and leader of initiatives Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong time management skills Willingness to travel Laboratory experience and knowledge Strong interest in IT Solutions and related area IT knowledge a plus The Ideal Candidate would possess: 3+ years of experience in as business analyst, programmer analyst, software test analyst and/or QA analyst 3+ years of combined technical and functional business experience 3+ years of laboratory experience or equivalent, Or any combination above Basic Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship Additional Information Position is full-time, Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm Excellent full time benefits including comprehensive medical coverage, dental, and vision options Life and disability insurance 401(k) with company match Paid vacation and holidays Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
