Physician Assistant (Rheumatology) - Raleigh, NC (New Grads Accepted ) Job Type: Full-Time Shift: Day Salary: $105,000 - $130,000 /Annually Summary: The Physician Assistant (PA) is responsible for delivering high-quality primary care services, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and education. Working in close collaboration with physicians and healthcare professionals, the PA plays a vital role in ensuring comprehensive patient care through a team-based approach. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history-taking, physical examinations, and evaluation of psychosocial and cultural factors. Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab results to inform diagnoses. Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications, injections, and other interventions in compliance with medical practice guidelines and state regulations. Educate patients and their families on treatment options, medication instructions, health promotion, and illness prevention. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals for the management of acute and long-term patient care. Qualifications: Active Physician Assistant State License. Bachelor's degree with completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program (ARC-PA). Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
