From root canal therapy to apical surgery, you’ll play a pivotal role in relieving patients’ dental pain and restoring oral health. Overview Our office is a fast-paced practice looking for a professional with exceptional work ethics, and high morals and values. At Smile Design Dental Ft. Lauderdale we empower you to focus on what you love to do: caring for your patients, one smile at a time. Our growing practice is looking to add a part-time Endodontist. We are seeking an Endodontist to work 1 day a month, in our Fort Lauderdale office. Endodontist Duties & Responsibilities: Administration of general anesthesia and performing endodontic therapy on patients with compromised dental health and infections Creating and maintaining a professional appearance Pay close attention to detail when performing procedures Chart patient information Complete daily reports for each procedure performed while conducting tasks Maintain current knowledge of new treatment options, materials, equipment, and products related to endodontics Understand the process of endodontic treatment and be able to explain it to patients Use the latest tools and technology related to endodontics during job duties Work well with others in a team setting, collaborate on patient care with other healthcare professionals, and communicate effectively with patients, clients, staff members, and coworkers Endodontist Requirements:

Endo- Residency completion and Board Certified in Endodontic Practice Active State Dental Board license. Licensed to practice in the state where practicing Two years of postdoctoral experience, training, or obtained a clinical certificate as RDCS. This may be satisfied by completing 24 hours of didactic instruction and, 3600 hours of clinical experience under supervision. Comfortable performing complex root canal procedures and endodontic surgery, including Apicos. Completed training in the management and prevention of dental emergencies Certification in CPR EEO Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
