Apply today for our Behavioral Health RN opening and continue to learn Job Summary and Qualifications The Behavioral Health Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. In addition, the registered professional nurse prescribes, delegates, coordinates, supervises and evaluates patient teaching and the activities of the ancillary nursing personnel while maintaining the standards of professional nursing. In This Role You Will Have: * Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing * Current State of Florida Registered RN License, or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions) * Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross * Advanced certifications (i.e. CEN, TNCC, etc.) preferred * A minimum of one year RN experience required * DCF Background Fingerprinting Required * One year of Behavioral Health experience HCA Florida JFK North Hospital is a 280-bed acute care facility. We have a 124-bed behavioral health unit. We are located in West Palm Beach, FL. HCA Florida JFK North Hospital has served the healthcare needs of Palm Beach County for 46 years. Our services include a 24-hour Emergency Department, Advanced Primary Certified Stroke Center, Orthopedic Institute, Critical Care Unit and an Interventional Vascular Suite. We have Inpatient Diabetes Care, Diagnostic Imaging, Outpatient Rehabilitation, and a Center for Pain Care and surgical services.
