Additional services offered within the system are: long-term care assisted and residential living communities community health services organizations home health agencies and numerous outpatient facilities.Utilizes the nursing process to identify patient needs and priorities of care through assessment, planning, and delegation of care based on patient needs and evaluation of the patient’s response. Is held accountable for policies and procedures of the department and organization. This position supports the mission, vision, and philosophy of CommonSpirit Health.**THIS POSITION COMES WITH A $20,000 SIGN ON BONUS AND IF ELIGIBLE RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AS WELL*******Responsibilities**1. Provides assessment of and preparatory care for all surgical outpatients with an emphasis on anticipation and prevention of complications2. Assesses patient’s health and continuously monitors; detect changes in symptoms, health or pain, and take action as necessary; and quickly and accurately assess patient care needs3. Responds to life saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol4. Collaborates with other care staff to assure smooth transition for patient throughout the facility using proper hand off techniques5. Administers medications, IV therapy, and treatments in compliance with policies and procedures6. Provides patient and family education7. Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms**Qualifications**Required Education and ExperienceAssociate’s Degree in NursingMinimum of two (2) years RN experienceRequired Licensure and CertificationsRN: NDBLSACLSPALSRequired Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and TrainingStrong oral communications skillsAbility to deal with conflict and difficult peopleStrong critical thinking skillsKnowledge of all regulatory agencies and their standards and processesAbility to manage multiple priorities**Pay Range**$32.08 - $46.51 /hourWe are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
