EPSI-Welder Fabricator Job SummaryA great candidate knows that welding is the intersection of art and science; the job of bringing similar and dissimilar materials together so that they stand the test of time takes a special type of person.As part of our team of professional fabricators, you construct and manufacture highly engineered plating rack systems (tooling); a necessity in driving the manufacturing economy of the US and neighboring countries.While you will be asked to follow blueprints, determine material measurements, and take responsibility for fabricating parts used in later assembly processes; we also expect the right candidate to provide feedback on how parts can be made better, faster and cheaper to drive product development.You are responsible for the quality of your output, so you must be able to perform simple tests to ensure weld quality and tolerance in order to be considered for this position.If you are good at what you do and feel underappreciated this may be the right place for you because we value the craftsmanship of those who have a golden arm shoulder to holder.Welder Fabricator Duties and ResponsibilitiesFabricate and manufacture metal parts for later assemblyFollow blueprints to ensure exact specifications of outputProduce strong, clean weldsTest output to ensure strength and tolerance of weldsWelder Fabricator Requirements and QualificationsPrior experience welding, preferably in a manufacturing environmentFamiliarity with common welding tools and procedures, including MIG welding TIG welding, metal fabricating, grinding, and finishing metalsAbility to stand, crouch, and occasionally lift heavy equipmentBlueprint reading and knowledge of common welding symbolCompany Benefits:Competitive SalaryEarned Commission & Sales Quota BonusesEarned Vacation & Personal Time OffPaid HolidaysMedical, Dental, and Vision 401 (K) with company match programAMTRACO and its operating units are proud to operate as a drug-free workplace.
