What You Will Do:

The IT PMO Leader will be responsible for specific technical knowledge to plan, organize, and control resources, procedures, and timing for an administrative or business process. Organizes project teams, assigns individual responsibilities, develops project schedules, and determines resource requirements. Identifies and resolves obstacles to completing projects on time and to budget.
  • Support end to end management of IT Projects - detailed project plans, scope and budget definition, resource allocation, product delivery, maintenance
  • Help develop and maintain core team processes
  • Supervise project management team, ensuring consistency and quality of project management for the entire portfolio of IT Projects
  • Serve as point person in stakeholder communications and manage engineer/stakeholder interactions
  • Manage stakeholder relationship and expectations throughout project lifecycle
  • Communicate portfolio status to all stakeholders (internal and external), work to resolve issues and problems, proactively identify project/portfolio risks and make recommendations for resolution to ensure project success
  • Assist in preparation of roadmap reports for projects to both team members and IT Leadership
  • Liaise with IT team members on a regular basis, and coordinate IT efforts with business stakeholders across the agency
What You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree, plus 12 years of experience OR 16 years of experience can be substituted for degree
  • Able to identify and execute strategic priorities and process improvements
  • Experience building relationships with executive level clients and business owners
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills; ability to understand and solution for complex problems
  • Strong communication and management skills
  • Experienced at building strategic relationships across the organization
  • Identifying and addressing client needs; building solid relationships with clients; communicating with the client in an organized and knowledgeable manner; delivering clear requests for information; demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks; and communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor
  • Familiar with theory and application of common project management methodologies and tools
  • Collaborate with team and stakeholders to drive actions and decisions
  • Maintain stakeholder management logs, communication plans, and project plans
What Would Be Nice To Have:
  • Familiarity DevOps principles/methodologies
  • Work closely with stakeholders to effectively design and build reports, processes, and deliverables
  • PMP or Project Management Certifications
