Overview:

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Florida Department of Corrections.

We are currently seeking a full-time Telehealth Coordinator to join our team at the Zephyrhills Correctional Institution located in Zephyrhills, Florida

Responsibilities:

The Telehealth Coordinator primary focus is to minimize the need for patient movement while maximizing the efficiency of patient care for specialty medical providers. The telehealth Coordinator will play a critical organizational role in the development, oversight, and improvement of telehealth care for patients not housed at the Reception and Medical Center. Time management skills, flexibility, and the ability to navigate multiple technology platforms are also critical components of the position. This person works with qualified healthcare providers to ensure the best outcome for the patient and other healthcare team members to develop, coordinate, communicate and educate all of those involved in the telehealthcare of the patient.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years of experience in medical or correctional health care
  • Excellent communication, time management, and organization skills necessary
  • Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
  • Must be able to work independently, without direct on-site supervision
  • Ability to interact well with various levels of management, clinical, administrative, and security staff


Available Shift:

8:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday
