Infrastructure Engineer

Reports to: Head of Cloud & Infrastructure Engineering

Key Relationships:InternallyMain relationships within IT Organization, Product Owner for C&IE, service owners, architects, and

business applications owners Externally Partners and suppliers that is part of delivering Cloud and Infrastructure capabilities in the tech eco system.

Purpose

The Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for contributing to the design, engineering, implementation, and support of the company's enterprise infrastructure, network, and cloud services. This role will collaborate with the Infrastructure and Operations teams to evaluate, acquire, and manage infrastructure technologies in a global setting. Collaborating with the team in providing 2nd and 3rd line support for infrastructure, ensuring SLA's and OKR's are met for both incidents and service requests.

Digitalization will put new demands on our business and drives IT to become an important digital asset for business development and corporate efficiency.

Partners with multiple teams across the company to ensure corporate success.

Existing application landscape and many core processes within the company are today fragmented and in many cases needs updating or harmonization. A service minded approach in combination with a passion and a mindset for over exceeding user expectations is essential to be successful in the role.

Main Responsibilities

Drive and deliver companywide IT Infrastructure capabilities in partnership within a global team

Responsible for developing & providing cost-effective Infrastructure capabilities for the entire in accordance with the IT strategy.

Deliver on Service Levels and secure that IT Infrastructure is aligned with overall business priorities.

Collaborate with Product Owner to create and drive the roadmap/delivery plan/strategy for IT Infrastructure.

Breakdown business requirements to technical requirements and provide execution

Ensure that operations and services meet the needs of the business and

simplifying/streamlining

processes

Responsible for lifecycle management of systems, and services within IT Infrastructure capabilities domain.

Knowledge sharing with L1/L2 members Shift left

Who are we looking for

Qualifications and Experience

We believe that the ideal candidate has the following qualifications and experiences:

A minimum of five years professional experience in maintaining infrastructure components in a complex environment.

Ideally worked as an IT/Infra architect or engineering background for several years.

Proven delivery of Cloud based infrastructure solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure

Experience working within and applying IT Service Management frameworks and tools in an ITIL based environment

Extensive experience in operations of business-critical IT and Cloud Infrastructure.

Experience with agile processes

Successful management of complex and diverse tasks, while meeting key goals and timelines.

Bachelors, masters degree or equivalent (technical school) in IT Related field or equivalent hands-on experience.

Good knowledge of infrastructure related technologies, such as Server H/W, Cloud, Hybrid environment, Networks, DBs, OS, Active Directory/IAM.

Team player with strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and resolve complex problems.

Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to clearly communicate ideas and results to stakeholders and company supervisors.

Educational and Previous Experience Requirements:

This role requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related study (or equivalent project-related experience).
