Angola, United States Samuel Son & Co. Full time

Floor Helpers normally participate as part of a team, however, on occasion floor helpers are given assignments requiring them to work independently. Depending on the work schedule, assignments can and often do change frequently from general cleaning, painting, sorting parts, etc Whether working as a team or independently normal daily tasks will require the floor helper to lift variable weights, bend, twist, use basic hand tools, push or pull and think safety on every task. Floor Helpers, due to the nature of the job, continuously shift body weight, hand location and grip reducing static posture positioning.

Continuously working to improve our safety culture is critical to our business model and continual growth. Therefore, we routinely review and upgrade our processes (when feasible) to reflect the latest available safety technology, including the use of manually/automatic operated hoists, cranes, carts, forklifts, tables and other devices to reduce the potential for repetitive related injuries. We also instruct our employees to use proper lifting techniques, hand/body positioning, buddy system, and other fundamental safety practices when performing tasks.
