Position Overview:

Technical Sales Manager (Remote) - Highly motivated and experienced salesperson drives sales growth and expands market presence for our precision grinding vitrified category. The Technical Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in developing and executing sales strategies, cultivating client relationships, and achieving revenue targets. This role reports into the VP of Sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share for vitrified product category.
  • Serve as a primary technical point-of-contact for client and sales team, providing product demonstrations, technical consultations, and support throughout the sales process.
  • Identify and target potential clients within various industries, including manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, and more.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, and marketing, to ensure alignment of sales efforts with company objectives and client needs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to management to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations, proposals, and product specifications to prospects and clients.

Requirements and skills:

  • Experienced with products and applications of industrial end-users i.e. bearing, cutting tool, aerospace, and general metalworking.
  • 5+ years of application experience in technical precision/vitrified products
  • Proven experience in technical selling (with travel preferred)
  • Computer proficient (Microsoft Office, CRM, Etc.)
  • Ability to work in a team driven atmosphere.
