Janitorial Associate ensures that the warehouse is kept clean and hygienic** Your Role** Janitorial Associate ensures that the warehouse is kept clean and hygienic** Your Responsibilities** Key Reponsabilities include but are not limited to: Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Gather and empty trash. Service, clean, and supply restrooms. Clean and polish furniture and fixtures. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees. Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties. Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, and chairs to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings. Ensuring that the warehouse is kept clean and hygienic Pick up all trash, including paper, cardboard, wood, plastic and tape and dispose of properly. Mop up all spills. Pull all empty pallets from slots and set upright on floor next to rack all on the same side of the aisle so forklift operators can pick up and move to the appropriate area. Pull pallets forward if double slotted location after removing the front empty pallet. Cut plastic off pallets of product in the slot.
