Summary
  • Hospital cleaners sanitize rooms during patient's stays, and after patients are discharged.
  • Tasks include vacuuming, mopping, changing bedding and re-stocking bathrooms.
  • Position includes working with chemicals and coming in contact with bodily fluids.
Schedule
  • Part-time, working 40 hours every two weeks
  • Days | 8-hour shifts, typically from 6:00AM to 2:30PM. Shift times can change.
  • Includes every 3rd weekend and every 6th holiday rotation.
Pay and Benefits
  • Wage rates start at $16.73 per hour - higher with experience.
  • Weekend shift differential is + $1.05 per hour.
  • Excellent comprehensive medical/dental benefits, PTO, life insurance, disability, retirement and more
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
  • Previous cleaning experience in health care facility preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read, write simple task requests and reports, and communicate well with others required.
  • Ability to use cleaning items and cleaning products, including but not limited to mops, floor cleaners, scouring pads, buffers and vacuums.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position during the assigned shift.
  • Ability to care for equipment, measure cleaning products and be alert to potential hazards.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently
