Direct the work in installation or removal of plastic thermoforming tooling from the machines. Coordinate with the production scheduling to optimize machine capacity. Upon satisfactory analysis a complete set of retains will be delivered to the Quality Department for 1st piece inspection.Write work orders to ensure the tooling or machinery are in proper working order. Complete all necessary documentation utilizing departmental computer and associated materials.Assist Operators with scrap and roll changes.Assist Tool Crib as needed (after applicable training received).Perform preventive maintenance duties on machines as per schedule, including cleaning, etc.Maintain training on Lockout/Tagout, normal operating procedures, and other safety standards. Resolve safety concerns or refer them to your supervisor.All other duties as assigned.Required Knowledge, Skills, and/or AbilitiesOutstanding mechanical skills.High safety standards.EducationAssociate's degree or Continuing Education Certificate is preferred but not required.
