The successful Manufacturing Engineer will have the following Key Accountabilities: Provide equipment, tooling, material specifications, manufacturing processes, quality inspection documents, and time standards needed to accurately and safely manufacture / assemble productsProvide support to projects such as capital improvements, NPI, and other projectsResearch and development of new manufacturing processes, tooling, and machinery with a focus on automation and improving ergonomicsAble to identify, develop processes and implement solutions to eliminate nonvalue activities in manufacturing processesThis role will be a key contributor to the Americas Division Manufacturing Transformation ProgramProvide project management and technical oversite to significant automation investments.The successful Manufacturing Engineer will have the following Minimum Qualifications: Level I Bachelor's Degree in technical field or Associate's degree with 3-5 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing3-5 Years' experience in manufacturing or equivalent educationBasic leadership skills to drive continuous improvement, manage processes, and implement new concepts.Basic knowledge of lean manufacturing processes and problem solving.Analytical ability to resolve minor problems and implement permanent corrective actionsExcellent skills in planning/organizing and time management with demonstrated ability to be proactive and take initiative.Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, assembly techniques, time studies, automation, PLC, machine logic, torque tooling, and computer applications.Level II Bachelor's degree (technical field) preferred or Associates degree or 5 - 7 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing5 - 7 years' experience in manufacturing or equivalent educationIntermediate leadership skills to drive continuous improvement, manage processes and implement new concepts. Ability to lead and interact with small groupsIntermediate knowledge of lean manufacturing processes and problem solving. Ability to lead teams in continuous improvement projectsIntermediate analytical ability to resolve minor problems. Ability to use problem solving processes to implement permanent corrective actions.Excellent skills in planning/organizing and time management. Demonstrated ability to be proactive and take initiative, including performance of duties exercising independent judgementStrong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to function as a team player.Intermediate knowledge of multiple processes such as machining, welding, assembly techniques, time studies, automation, PLC, machine logic, torque tooling, computer applicationsLevel III Bachelor's Degree (technical field) preferred, Associate's Degree, or 7-10 years of relevant work experience in manufacturingStrong leadership skills to drive continuous improvement, manage processes and implement new conceptsStrong knowledge of lean manufacturing processes and problem solving. Ability to lead and coach teams in continuous improvement projectsStrong analytical ability to resolve major problems.
