This position reports to: Supply Chain Manager The work model for the role is: Onsite Your Role And Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing material inventory to ensure efficient production processes. You will analyze demand forecasts, coordinate with suppliers, and collaborate with various departments to maintain appropriate inventory levels while minimizing costs. You Will Be Mainly Accountable For Material Planning & Inventory Control: Analyze production schedules and forecasts to determine material needs; develop strategies to maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize excess stock. Procurement & Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely acquisition and delivery of materials; resolve material-related issues with suppliers and internal teams. Data Management & Reporting: Utilize ERP systems to track inventory, manage orders, and prepare regular reports on material planning metrics and trends for management review. Continuous Improvement: Monitor inventory turnover and participate in initiatives to enhance material planning processes and overall supply chain efficiency. Qualifications For The Role Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (Preferred) OR Associate's degree with minimum 2 years OR High School Diploma with minimum 4 years in material planning or inventory management within a manufacturing or supply chain environment. Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred), advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with material planning software; project management knowledge is a plus. Analytical & Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to interpret data, manage multiple priorities, and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment. Communication & Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional teamwork and effective reporting.
