That's why finding the right Activity Director is so important to us. We're looking for someone who understands that each activity, large or small, is an opportunity to bring joy and enrich the lives of our memory care residents. If you're passionate about working with seniors and have a creative spark, we'd love to meet you What You'll Do as Our Activity Director Create & Implement Daily Activities: Plan and organize three to four engaging activities each day that align with the interests, needs, and well-being of our residents. Monthly Activity Calendar: Develop a monthly schedule of events and activities that's meaningful, balanced, and designed with residents' interests in mind. Enrich Residents' Lives: Lead various activities and one-on-one sessions, bringing companionship, cognitive stimulation, sensory experiences, and friendly interactions to each resident. Keep Everyone in the Loop: Communicate activity changes to residents and staff promptly. Coordinate Special Events: Arrange transportation, logistics, and any special accommodations for off-campus events. Gather Feedback: Connect with residents and their families regularly to evaluate participation, adjust activities, and continually improve our offerings. Help Residents Stay Involved: Escort residents to and from activities, ensuring that everyone has a chance to join in the fun and companionship. Qualifications Experience working in assisted living or memory care activities is essential. A passion for seniors and a warm, engaging approach. Schedule This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position , with flexibility to work occasional weekends as needed to bring joy to residents on special occasions.
