We are looking to appoint a Warehouse Supervisor for our Ipswich warehouse. The Warehouse Supervisor will act as a support for the warehouse manager Lates in the day to day running of the warehouse. The role will involve overseeing a team of colleagues, leading them towards providing an efficient service for customers.

**Accountabilities include:**

* Assigning roles and duties to colleagues as required and ensuring the duties are carried out effectively and proficiently.

* Specific areas of Supervision will include Cutting tables, poles barrows and sortation, Loading and receiving trunkers, Returns and unit picking, packing ready for radial loading.

* Providing day to day line management support to a team of colleagues, and being their point of contact for any queries or questions as well as conducting Return to works, Reviews, and 121s

* Carry out accident and investigations with support from the warehouse Manager

* Supporting colleagues to ensure KPIs are met.

* Identifying training needs and organising/delivering training as required.

* Implementing new policies, procedures, safe systems of work, etc

* Ensuring all colleagues comply with H&S regulations.

* Continually identifying opportunities for improvement in areas such as people management, processes, and H&S.

* Getting involved with the day-to-day work such as picking, booking in, receiving deliveries etc as required.

****Requirements:****

**Essential Requirements:**

* Experience of working within an operations (warehouse and distribution) environment.

* People management skills.

* The ability to work well when under pressure in order to meet deadlines and prioritise workloads.

* Forklift Licence.

**Desirable Requirements:**

* Computer literate in Microsoft Office and KEA

* Driven and focussed.

* Attention to detail/accuracy.
