Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Buyer Analyst to join our procurement team. As a Buyer Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting market research, analyzing supplier performance, and supporting the procurement process. Your insights and recommendations will contribute to the efficient and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and stay informed about market trends.
  • Analyze supplier performance, including cost, quality, and delivery metrics.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers.
  • Prepare and maintain purchase orders and procurement records.
  • Track and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and prevent overstock situations.
  • Assist in the evaluation and selection of suppliers, considering quality, price, and reliability.
  • Monitor and analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and explore opportunities for partnerships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement needs are met.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on procurement activities to management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Buyer Analyst, Purchasing Analyst, or in a similar procurement role.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain principles.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
