JOB DESCRIPTION FOX Sports Media Group (FSMG) has a great opportunity for a Financial Analyst. The Financial Analyst is primarily responsible for the fixed assets accounting process, reconciliation of large bank accounts and assisting with reporting. The Financial Analyst will handle a large volume of tasks regarding these areas within tight timelines. The candidate must work closely with business units to complete assigned tasks. A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Maintains fixed asset module to record additions, disposals, and depreciation Maintains lease module to record expenses monthly Maintains Expense Authorizations Helps maintain reports in OfficeConnect/Adaptive Reconciles the fixed asset module to the general ledger monthly Reconciles main depository and disbursement bank accounts monthly Works with various departments to identify reconciling items and clear them on a timely basis Book necessary bank transactions to clear reconciling items Assists with providing support for internal audit and external audit requests and schedules Assist/Act as backup for other staff in the accounting department, as needed Ad-hoc projects on an as-needed basis WHAT YOU WILL NEED Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Accounting Relevant general accounting experience Strong verbal and written communication skills and the aptitude to communicate with all levels of management Self-starter, accountable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), particularly Excel Perform job functions with accuracy and attention to detail Ability to multitask and prioritize Able to work independently and in teams Tech savvy NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER Knowledge of Workday ERP system Knowledge of Adaptive/OfficeConnect CPA or CPA candidate Sports/Entertainment industry experience #LI-DNI We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $29.25-34.62 per hour for California. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
