**OVERVIEW**

The Sales Associate is responsible to sell and provide exceptional customer service, possess strong product knowledge, support achievement of sales goals, promote a positive work environment and participate in day to day operations and projects as assigned by store management.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Drive for Results

+ Play to win mindset Consistently demonstrate selling enthusiasm with a customer first approach.

+ Recommending related products to increase customers options and enrich their shopping experience

+ Explain benefits, functions, and operations of products where applicable and advise upselling on ShopHQ

+ Accepting and processing orders by operating the POS efficiently and quickly while engaging with the customer

+ Help promote special sales within the store

+ Keep the store tidy and free from hazards

* Communication and Teamwork

+ Build trust and mutual respect with co-workers.

+ Communicate clearly and respectfully with employees and customers

+ Be able to handle constructive criticism as it will help you grow as a team member

+ Have a positive attitude

* Operations

+ Follow the Code of Conduct.

+ Adhere to all operational policies and procedures to help ensure safe and efficient operations.

+ Participate in the execution of store management directives within the designated timeframes.

+ Cash policies will be enforced.

+ Stay Safe Policy will be enforced.

**ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES**

* Adhere to Company policies and procedures.

* Regular attendance and the ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including nights, weekends and holidays.

* Any paperwork will need to be signed off on by management. Discrepancies will be discussed, and will be worked through together to help you strive as a member of our team

* Other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES**

* Retail experience preferred.

* Experience in customer service industry preferred

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time.

* Ability to operate point of sale (POS) register system with proficiency.
