Overview We now wish to recruit a Senior Project Engineer to coordinate, oversee, and manage numerous projects at a client site (Pharma sector). The successful candidate will have a proven track record of working with multi-discipline Engineering/Design, Project Management, and Construction Management teams.

Responsibilities

Manage project activities within the project team ensuring project objectives and deliverables are met

Lead required operational activities for the project in line with the global project objectives defined by the project Core Team Leader

Ensure close working relationship with the project Core Team Leaders

Produce and manage the project strategy ensuring agreed objectives can be met

Monitor activity progress for the project in line with the project objectives, deliverables, and timelines and report potential delays including mitigation recommendations

Participate in utility systems design reviews and provide input into user requirements

Manage the project Risk Log ensuring all identified risks have been mitigated

Provide project reports on a regular basis for effective communication

Provide support for the operational activities and project phase reviews

Conduct project reviews with the project team and site management on a regular basis

Provide support for product costing and financial assessment of the project

Provide feedback and support for identification of training/development requirements of project team members

Provide support for the annual budget preparation and project capital

Monitor project expenses in line with the approved project budget

Provide support for preparation of monthly Managerial reports

Ensure smooth transfer of project knowledge and technology from engineering to production

Ensures all activities, equipment, and facilities comply with site cGMP, Health, Safety, and Environmental policies

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:

Degree in relevant Engineering discipline

Experience working in a highly regulated environment such as Pharma, or medical device

Experience with various utility systems, such as chillers, HVAC, purified water, etc.

Experience directing/supervision of construction projects would be an advantage

Good level of project management skills

Effective communication, presentation, and documentation skills
