Job Title: CT Imaging Specialist - Radiology Department Job Description We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT imaging specialist to join our radiology team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of computed tomography procedures and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. The CT imaging specialist will be responsible for administering ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic or research purposes. They will perform computed tomography and molecular imaging procedures, acquire and analyze data needed for diagnosis, interpretation, and the performance of interventional and therapeutic procedures at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed practitioner. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to effectively interact with patients, healthcare providers, and other staff members. They will also be able to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and maintain accurate records. Required Skills and Qualifications Certification by the American Registry of Radiology Technologist (ARRT) is required. Certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technologist and Certification Board (NMTCB) and ARRT-CT is also acceptable. Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Radiologic Technology is required. A Bachelors Degree-Related Field of Study is preferred. A minimum of 5 years-Related work experience is required.
