Summary:

Responsible for assisting in food preparation, serving, and kitchen clean-up.

Responsibilities:
•Documents and completes End of Shift lists daily. •Documents and completes Weekend Cleaning list. •Reads Communication Board Daily while at work. •Delivers trays to patients and helps them open milk and set up if indicated. •Introduce yourself when entering patient room. •Washes hands appropriately and frequently. •Delivers and returns patient food carts. •Maintains orderly flow of cafeteria when serving. •Washes dishes, glasses and silverware and then rewash when indicated. •Prepares food items such as salads and milkshakes. •Recycles for hospital savings.
