Your Impact:

As the Senior Dispatch Manager, you'll be at the helm of our dispatch operations, leveraging our GIS-based dispatching platform, OnPath (Pearce's proprietary ESRI platform), to streamline processes and enhance efficiency for our internal dispatching team was well as for the technicians for whom you are dispatching. In addition to overseeing day-to-day operations, you'll play a pivotal role in strategic planning, ensuring seamless internal processes and proactive collaboration with key stakeholders. This role will work closely with Operations Directors and Sales to forecast workload, anticipate new volumes of work, and adapt to evolving responsibilities to optimize our dispatch team's performance.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Harness the benefits of Pearce's GIS-based dispatching tool to optimize routing and resource allocation. Strategically plan and execute dispatch operations, ensuring internal processes run smoothly.
  • Collaborate with Operations Directors to forecast workload and allocate dispatch team resources effectively. Liaise with the Director of Operations to understand upcoming responsibilities and their impact on the dispatch team.
  • Maintain communication with customers to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objective changes. Direct project correspondence by preparing and reviewing customer changes, requirements, and necessary paperwork for each project needed in the field.
  • Continuously monitor and optimize dispatch processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. Monitor project plans, schedules, hours, budgets, and expenses.
  • Manage and coach employees on specific customer requirements. Mentor and coach team members to ensure high performance and professional development.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and insights for management regarding dispatch operations and performance.
Specific duties may vary or evolve over time based on business and client needs.

Core Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in dispatch management with experience using web-based dispatching tools. Or 5+ years in an Operations leadership role experience building teams and process.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Profound understanding of strategic planning principles and their application in dispatch operations.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Sales, and Management.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Natural leadership qualities, with a passion for mentoring and developing team members. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and evolving business needs.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel for customer meetings, training, and field visits.


Physical/Work Environment

Ability to work Eastern Time Zone regardless of location. Hybrid when within commuting distance to one of our offices.
