Location: Waxahachie, TX

Shift: 1rst
Hire Type: Direct Hire
Salary: $70k-$80k/yr.

Sterling Engineering is looking for an Automation Engineer/ Controls Engineer for a company that manufactures of various components for the automotive and other industries in Waxahachie, TX. This is a great opportunity to work with a company with great benefits and that likes to promote growth within the company.

Job Duties:
  • Design, develop, and implement automated systems to optimize production processes.
  • Program and configure Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) to control automated machinery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with hardware and software components of automation systems.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience as a controls engineer
  • Experience Troubleshooting AND editing PLCs
  • Experience in Ladder Logic
  • Experience in Robotic Controls
