Training

New York Life's Practice Model Training is a program designed for diverse, dedicated, and eager professionals, who are looking to pivot into the financial services industry. Our five Practice Models are Retirement Planning, Financial Guidance, Estate Planning, Small Business Benefits, and Wealth Advisory. Our practice models end in designations such as ChFC, CFP, RICP, FSCP, and CLU. It all depends on where you decide you want to drive your career.

The Ideal Candidate

Responsibilities

Obtain Life and Health Colorado resident license, the FINRA SIE and Series 6 within the first 90-days. Attain Series 63 within the first 6 months and Series 7 and 66 in months 18-36. Grow a viable market of clients and deliver personalized investment and insurance solutions to help clients work toward their long-term financial goals. They should be comfortable creating financial strategies and cross-checking work with mentors, trainers, and consultants. This is an Entreprenurial opportunity to grow a practice in be in business for yourself, but not by yourself. There are also opportunities to expand within the company's corporate structure if that becomes a desired path.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Master's degree a plus, but not required.
  • 3+ years of business, management, or sales experience.
  • Strong understanding of business development and CRM/Salesforce.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship management.
