Our fast-paced work environment requires that our forklift and other powered industrial trucks are operated in a safe and efficient manner. You will play a key role in ensuring we meet daily production demands while also complying with our expectations for safe PIT operation. YOUR ROLE: •The bullet points below reflect roughly 80% of your job. We are a fast-paced company, you may be pulled in a variety of different directions with tasks added or changed.•Safely operate powered industrial truck - always putting associate safety above production output. •Move product utilizing various types of powered industrial trucks, including sit down, stand up, and walkie-style. •Utilize Handheld scanner and E-21 or Great Plains to accurately place and retrieve needed materials in a timely manner.•Utilize tablet PCs and MES to ensure accurate production status to management team.•Responsible for daily PIT Inspections. •Must keep plus level eligibility•Supplying skins to BDL/CDL/Saws•Other duties as assigned or defined by the area Supervisor or Group Lead.QualificationsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS: •High School Graduate/HSE or equivalent manufacturing experience•Ability to obtain Fork Lift CertificationPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: •Previous experience operating a powered industrial truck in a manufacturing environment is required.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:•Physical demands of performing the duties of this job are outlined in the area specific Physical Demands Analysis.
