We're seeking a team member for the role of Vice President, Internal Communications to join our Internal Communications Team in the Marketing & Communications function. This role is located in NYC, with a Hybrid work arrangement. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways: Work as part of a small team to develop and execute communications strategies which support enterprise functions, based around clear outcomes, with specific tactics and success metrics. Build and execute outstanding written communications including functional communications, key messages, talking points, FAQs, social media posts and other collateral. Support the planning and execution of events in partnership with BNY's events team. Bring creativity, excellence and organization to your work and inspire the same in other members of the team. Partner and collaborate with individuals throughout the communications team and other organizations within BNY. To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following: Bachelor's / master's degree in communication, journalism / Marketing, or a related field. 5-7 years of proven experience in internal communication roles, including experience creating written and video content, and running events. Exceptional writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity. Proficiency in utilizing various communication tools and platforms. Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills across geographies. Open communicator who can reach out to multiple stakeholders across hierarchy. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and successfully multitask on competing deliverables. Excellent project management skills to drive momentum, track and execute on key deliverables. LI-Hybrid Preferred Skills: Familiarity with digital communications tools, trends, and best practices. Proven track record of being a part of successful communication campaigns in a corporate environment. Understanding of financial services industry is a plus. At BNY, our culture speaks for itself. BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $79,000 and $147,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs. This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
