New York, United States Zealthy Full time

About Us:

Zealthy is a telemedicine company on a mission to provide critical healthcare services to all who need them. We are building the world's largest and highest quality telemedicine company and fundamentally expand access to high-quality care.

While the Founder was most recently Founder and CEO at a unicorn healthcare company, the full-time team is currently only 12 people. The company is focused on sustainable growth, and the company is growing quickly to achieve its mission.

We work hard at Zealthy to ensure that patients can access high-quality healthcare from anywhere. This means working Monday-Friday in the office. Hours tend to be longer than at most companies because we work hard to serve our patients and make sure that we can achieve our mission of building the worlds largest and highest quality telemedicine company.

The culture is focused on what we can do to serve our patients and all full-time members of the team will be equity holders in the business, as we firmly believe that all team members should be literal and figurative owners in what we are building. Additionally, all team members will have the opportunity to grow as the organization scales, including growing quickly into leadership roles regardless of tenure so long as performance is strong.

The Role:

We are currently seeking a full-time QA Engineer. Please note that this position will start out in person in our Miami Beach office, and then transfer to our NYC office once it opens in Summer 2024.

What Youll Do:

  • Join the Zealthy product & engineering team as the first dedicated QA hire, completing all QA directly alongside engineers and product.
  • Employ existing processes and iteratively build more scalable processes, including support for building automated tests and clear documentation of manual QA testing processes.
  • Develop test strategy and cases to manually test complex, large-scale, distributed systems.
  • Work closely with Software Engineering and Product Management to understand user needs and to develop and adhere to QA processes and guidelines.
  • Deeply understand user experience including running user testing groups to ensure we deeply understand their needs and how they use the solutions and incorporate these findings into our processes and strategies.
  • Set up and utilize tools, such as VWO insights, to understand issues real users are experiencing and resolving them with engineering.
  • Continuously improve our QA processes and approach including frequent reviews of new approaches and techniques.
  • Establish quality metrics and improve our continuous integration pipeline, testing patterns and techniques.

What Youll Bring:

  • 2+ years experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong knowledge of test methodologies and software release cycles
  • A proven track record of using data to measure success of a quality program.
  • QA expertise with SaaS web solutions, distributed services, mobile applications and/or products
  • Experience coaching test strategy and tooling to technical and non technical team members.
  • Proficient in creating and executing test plans based on the understanding of feature goals, software architecture and how our customers use the solutions
  • Able to work independently and drive results in a fast-paced Agile environment
  • Able to grasp new concepts and idea quickly and efficiently.
  • Experience with modern CI platforms and tooling (GitHub, Jira, etc).
