Details:

Our client is a well-known firm in the fields of architecture, engineering, interior design, and planning, with a national presence. They are looking for a full-time registered Architectural Project Manager with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience.

The individual in this role will act as the main client contact and will be responsible for both external and internal project communications, managing staffing needs, work efforts, and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

* Initiate the design process, starting from programming and conceptual design through to construction administration.
* Collaborate with firm Principals and specialized planners to develop programmatic relationships that encourage both utility and innovative design, incorporating industry best practices.
* Design buildings that meet client requirements and reflect their desired image, space, and aesthetics.
* Help clients understand relevant design considerations.
* Test the building design against codes and other emerging issues.
* Define design principles that guide the detailing phase of the project. Either author or closely oversee critical design details. Lead design concept presentations.
* Lead a multi-disciplinary team's design efforts and encourage collaboration with engineering disciplines, including civil and landscape, as well as interiors, to ensure consistent project development aligned with initial design concepts.
* Act as the main client liaison for design and contractual matters.
* The Project Manager collaborates closely with the Project Principal and is the key client contact throughout the project lifecycle.
* This role involves overseeing both internal and external communications for projects, as well as managing the staffing needs, work scope, and deliverables.
* The successful applicant will work collaboratively within the broader office environment, as well as with the Science & Technology practice and various firm leaders.

Job Requirements

Details:

* A minimum of 10 years of experience.
* A Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering.
* Registered Architect or Professional Engineer in at least one state, with credentials suitable for registration in other states.
* Strong presentation, verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.
* Quick problem-solving abilities in a collaborative setting are essential.
* Previous experience in Science & Technology sectors, including Pharmaceutical, Biotech, R&D, and/or Clinical Laboratory Facilities, is preferred.
* Candidates should have experience leading multi-disciplinary teams through all design and construction phases for medium to large projects (ranging from $10M to $100M in construction value).
* Experience in an A/E setting is a plus but not a requirement. The position offers opportunities for both professional and personal growth within the organization.
