Financial Analyst

Salaried Position: $79,571-Dependent upon experience

Under the direction of the Director of Finance, the Financial Analyst is responsible for performing advanced financial and operational analyses and preparing reports on operational, marketing, promotional, and labor data. This position will also prepare financial forecasting and budget reports. The Financial Analyst will play a major role in assisting the executive team in decision making.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Works with various departments to gather, analyze, and prepare reports.
•Prepares weekly, monthly, and yearly financial and cashflow analysis reports and projections; presents reports to executive leadership.
•Analyzes and prepares post-forma reports on marketing promotions and events for profitability.
•Evaluates player reinvestments, which includes comps and free play.
•Reviews labor statistics in relations to business levels and trends.

Prepares annual Operating and Capex budgets with input from Department managers and Human Resources.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Experience:

  1. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a financial analyst role in the casino/hospitality industry.
  2. Five (5) years of experience in an accounting role.
  3. Associates or Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or related field of study.
  4. A combination of education and proven experience may be considered in lieu of requirements.
Skills and Abilities:
  1. Ability to multitask.
  2. Strong organizational and communication skills.
  3. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  4. Ability to prepare and present detailed financial, labor, and operational analysis reports.
  5. Ability to communicate and work with department leaders.
  6. Ability to provide guidance in a constructive manner.


PREFERRED

Education and Experience:

o Working knowledge of Tableau or Power BI.

o Experience using Casino Management System (CMS) and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).

Experience in Indian Gaming.

Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays as needed.
