As our next Regional Logistics Manager, reporting to our Head of Supply Chain NOAM, you will lead inbound or outbound logistics operations, such as transportation or warehouse activities, safety performance, and logistics quality management for the region. This position will be located in Cincinnati, OH. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for: Strategy design and execution Elaborate the regional Logistics strategy and oversee the design and execution of related tactical and operational plans to meet our business growth goals Contribute to the design of the regional Operations and Supply Chain strategies by providing input regarding Logistics and continuous improvement programs. Define performance and service level of service partners and carriers Design and improve distribution networks for the region. Follow the market evolution/trends of service and costs in logistics. Lead the deployment of global and regional Logistics programs at all regional sites to improve the balance of service level, cost and quality of Logistics services Identify and support continuous improvement programs both internally and together with the global logistics Givaudan Business Solutions (GBS) team and 4PL to provide target service levels and costs Create visibility on logistics projects within and across the regions Manage strategic relationships with logistics service providers Function management Lead tenders and define the performance and service level of service partners in collaboration with procurement. Budget process and follow-up, root cause analysis, action plan Change champion within OPS/SC for transport and warehousing improvement projects Control that Logistics operations are conducted in compliance with company (EHS) guidelines and public safety regulations. Subject matter expertise Align regional best-practices, around shipping/export activities across the local sites to allow accurate reporting and KPI tracking Follow market evolution/trends of service and costs within Logistics led by Source-to-Pay (STP) People management Oversee the deployment of training programs for Logistics staff to strengthen capabilities Coordinate and review human resources processes within the Logistics teams at Site level Develop a regional talent pipeline and lead the development and promotion of Logistics talents together with GBS delivery center and HR Business Partner(s) Required Qualifications: Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or related discipline 10 to 15 years of experience in logistics in a manufacturing environment. 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in people management. Knowledge of transportation, warehousing, customs and trade affairs topics Understanding of incoterms and shipping terminology Excellent knowledge of supply chain function and processes Affinity to systems and analytical tools (SAP, BI/BO, XLS) Knowledge on new technologies and automation Excellent command in project and change management Experience with large ERP system(s) Continuous Improvement mindset Fluency in English Additional Qualifications: Green Belt certificate What We Can Offer You: Healthcare Plan: Medical Dental Vision High matching 401k plan Vacation days LI-Onsite At Givaudan, you contribute to delightful taste and scent experiences that touch people's lives.
