Sr. Data Architect

Pay Rate $160k - $180k (estimate) Job Description Our client is seeking a talented, motivated Senior Data Architect to join their team. As a Senior Data Architect, you will be pivotal in shaping the data transformation and modeling that drives our business. You will be responsible for building and maintaining robust, scalable data pipelines that enable enterprises to derive meaningful insights from the data. The Data Architect (Data & Analytics) will architect and deliver comprehensive data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Palantir Foundry. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs, translate them into technical requirements, and design scalable, efficient data architectures. Your expertise will be instrumental in enabling clients to optimize their data integration, analytics, and automation processes. Essential Responsibilities Design end-to-end data and analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric, ensuring alignment with client business goals and technical requirements. Lead the technical delivery of data projects, guiding development teams in implementing solutions based on the designed architecture. Engage with internal business departments to gather requirements and provide recommendations for implementing solutions that meet their data strategy. Architect solutions that integrate data from various sources, ensuring data quality, consistency, and accessibility. Design and implement advanced analytics solutions, including data warehousing, real-time analytics, and machine learning. Optimize data architectures for performance, scalability, and reliability. Create detailed architectural documentation, including technical specifications, data flow diagrams, and implementation guides. Provide training ensuring successful adoption and utilization of Analytic Platforms. Stay current with the latest advancements in related technologies, continuously enhancing your expertise and the solutions you deliver. Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's degree in computer science; a master's degree is a plus. 12+ years of experience as a Data Architect (Data & Analytics). Strong understanding of SQL for querying, transforming, and manipulating data. Working knowledge of programming languages like Python or Java. Experience building custom ETL scripts and data transformations. Extensive experience with Microsoft Fabric, including data integration, automation, analytics (e.g., Power BI, Palantir Foundry, Fabric, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory). Proven experience designing scalable and efficient data architectures, with a strong understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, and data warehousing. Strong ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.
