Job Description

We are seeking a Contracts Manager/Billing Coordinator (title dependent on candidates experience and responsibilities) to work alongside our CFO and team of four staff accountants. This is a full-time (nonexempt) position working in downtown Seattle Monday through Thursday with Fridays remote.

Responsibilities

  • Contract Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of contracts including review, execution, expirations, and renewal. Provide feedback on contract language and terms to ensure the Companys interests are protected and a smooth billing and client payment process. Includes onboarding and offboarding clients and timely tracking of client, vendor, and lease agreements.
  • Financial Oversight: Enter contracts and billing schedules utilizing the sales order and project module functionality within the NetSuite cloud ERP system. Assist with financial queries related to contracts, and ensure accurate contract administration.
  • Accounting Leadership:Review and analyze General Ledger (GL) accounts to identify discrepancies and opportunities for improvement. Assist with month-end closing processes and support state and local tax filings.
  • Operational Efficiency:Lead initiatives to optimize accounting processes. Collaborate closely with staff accountants and the CFO to enhance financial procedures and systems.
  • Compliance and Business Licensing:Manage the tracking and renewal of business licenses across various jurisdictions.
  • Data Management:Maintain and update records and data centers to ensure high visibility and communication across the company.
  • Communication:Serve as a key point of contact for contract-related inquiries within the company, providing timely and accurate responses as well as educating team members on contract and billing issues.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Solid Accounting Foundation: Minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting, with a strong understanding of GAAP. Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is essential.
  • Contract Expertise: Experience managing a variety of business agreements such as MSAs, NDAs, and subcontractor agreements. Proven ability to handle complex and confidential contractual obligations.
  • Technological Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite.
  • Other helpful experience: Prior exposure to professional services or consulting environment. CPA certification.

Strategies 360 offers a very competitive compensation package with a salary range for this position from $70,000 to $80,000, based on experience level, and a benefits package that includes employer-paid medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance; 401(k) retirement plan with employer match; and generous paid vacation and sick leave.
