Overview Medical Receptionist job at Pacific Plastic Surgery Group. San Francisco, CA. Front Office Coordinator (Full-Time) Dynamic, state-of-the-art plastic surgery practice in San Francisco is seeking a full-time Front Office Coordinator. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday from 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. Our ideal candidate would be a friendly, energetic and flexible individual with at least 2 years experience working in a medical environment, assuming both clerical and clinical duties. This position requires a professional demeanor, excellent attention to detail and follow-through, as well as the ability to multi-task throughout the day. Responsibilities Opening and closing the office Answering and fielding incoming phone calls Checking patients in & out on clinic days Scheduling/rescheduling patients Preparing patient charts for the next clinic day Entering new patients into the software system Rooming patients Data entry and document scanning Maintaining inventory of medical & various office supplies on a weekly basis Assisting in keeping the office organized Ensuring that treatment rooms are stocked Posting & collecting payments Verifying insurance benefits Obtaining insurance authorizations Various clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, etc. Required skills Previous experience working in a healthcare environment (2 years+) Exceptional customer service skills Friendly and polished patient interaction A hard-working and positive attitude Ability to multi-task and work proactively Sensitivity and discretion with relation to patient matters (HIPAA compliant) Preferred skills At least 2 years experience working in a private medical practice Experience with electronic health record and online scheduling Details This position will start immediately.
