Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk:As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will:

Check and Approve Vouchers:
- Review and approve all vouchers for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.

Invoice Management:
- Prepare invoice deduction notices as necessary.
- Handle daily processing of expense reports.

Vendor Relations:
- Answer all vendor inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Analyze vendor accounts and negotiate extended terms with vendors when cash flow is restricted.

Payment Processing:
- Prepare accounts payable checks and ensure timely disbursement.
- Print all accounts payable reports and maintain organized accounts payable files.

Account Analysis:
- Prepare analysis of accounts as required.
- Assist in monthly closings by providing necessary data and support.

Support Functions:
- Assist with accounts receivable tasks and special projects as necessary.
Experience Preferred for the Accounts Payable Clerk:
- Accounts Payable Experience: Previous experience in accounts payable is essential for this role.
- Educational Background: An AA degree is preferred but not mandatory.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with Great Plains is a PLUS.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including creating and managing spreadsheets.
