Job Position: Junior Estimator

Location: Hebron, IL 60034

Pay Rate: $15.00/hr

Shift: 1st shift, Mon-Fri, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Description:

Our 60+ year old manufacturing company with approximately 60 employees, isseeking a responsible and motivated person to fill its Estimator position.We engineer and manufacture wire, sheet metal and tubular steel storedisplays. You will work the Day shift, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday throughFriday.

Jr. Estimator Duties and Responsibilities

Working with the Senior Estimator to develop quotes for custom point of purchase metal displays.

Obtaining quotes from outside vendors for outside process services, and component pricing and lead time availability

Checking existing production rates and estimating new rates based on actual time studies.

Working extensively with Excel and Word to create the quote and integrate into our CRM Hubspot.

Working independently to complete estimates in a timely manner typically within the same day.

Providing coverage for the Senior Estimator when out of the office.

Assist with project management as workload allows

Jr. Estimator Qualifications and Requirements

Manufacturing processes: 1-3 years (preferred)

Working with Excel and Word 1-3 years (required)

Experience with operating fabrication equipment 1-3 years (desirable)

CAD Experience 1-3 years (desirable)

Bilingual in English/Spanish (desirable)
