Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Change Management Specialist to join our Procurement Operations Department. This role is critical in leading and delivering procurement-related improvement projects, optimizing processes, and ensuring seamless coordination between various stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, exceptional change/project management skills, and the ability to drive efficiency improvements within the department.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Leading Projects:

  • Project Leadership: Lead teams in the ideation, execution, and successful completion of procurement-related improvement projects, ensuring alignment with departmental and organizational goals.
  • Process Enhancement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within procurement operations, benchmark against best practices, and propose streamlined workflows to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including Sourcing, Finance, Accounting, Legal, IT, and Operations) to ensure alignment of procurement strategies and objectives.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Evaluate potential risks in proposed and active projects, develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring continuity of service and minimizing disruptions.
  • Data-Driven Insights: Utilize data analytics and key performance indicators to make informed decisions, track progress, and identify areas for improvement within projects.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure adherence to procurement policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards, implementing governance frameworks to maintain compliance.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree: Required in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Procurement Experience: Proven track record in procurement operations, change management, and process optimization.
  • Procurement Knowledge: Strong understanding of procurement principles and operations.

Technical Skills:

  • Procurement Tools and Systems: Proficiency in procurement tools and systems, including P2P (Procure-to-Pay), ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), CLM (Contract Lifecycle Management), and associated software; certification in relevant tools is a plus.
  • Project Management Tools: Experience with project management tools such as Atlassians Jira.

Soft Skills:

  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Leadership and Motivation: Proven ability to lead and motivate project teams, manage multiple projects concurrently, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical Mindset: Focus on leveraging data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

Certifications:

  • Project Management Certification: Certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional) is a strong plus.
